Our artist of the week is Mary  Blair.
The art of Mary Blair
May 2020
For the month of May we are exploring the art of Mary Blair (1911 - 1978).  Mary Blair was an American artist and animator.  She produced art and animation for The Walt Disney Company.  Our activities for this week will include one of her most famous project designs, "It's A Small World"   There are several activities for you to choose from, so choose one or as many as you like that best suits your interests.  Below are some examples of Mary Blair's work.
For early childhood learners, we will explore a variety of shapes and colors.  I have included several educational videos for you to choose and learn from.  Please do not forget to take a picture of your art and email it to me and I will showcase your art in our "student Work" section.  You can find my email address link in the contact section.
Have a great week and a happy and safe Summer, Mr. Jason
